As power levels move up to and beyond 500 horsepower. RAM POWERGRIP meets the challenge with a combination of organic and metallic disc friction surfaces that effectively increase the clutch capacity to the 550 horsepower level. The 8-spring hub is equipped with RAM POLYCOIL damper springs encapsulated in polyurethane. This spring can handle three times the shock load of just the coil spring, and is standard in all RAM competition discs. The RAM Competition pressure plate in this kit provides 30% more clamp pressure than stock, and meets SFI specifications. At this high level of performance RAM POWERGRIP provides surprisingly good driving characteristics with smooth, comfortable driver control. Sets include pressure plate, disc, release bearing, and alignment tool unless otherwise noted.

Easy to use, good looks and dependable ratcheting design makes the QuickSilver one of our most popular shifters. Features a trigger-less shift handle for a clean modern design. To access Reverse or Forward gears you simply lift the handle and pull back and let the handle drop in gear. Theres no need to lift the handle again to shift gears until you either need to access Reverse or Park. From Drive, lift the handle straight up and this will bypass the reverse lockout safety feature, then move the shift handle forward into Reverse or Park. Its just that easy! Also, the reverse lockout feature meets NHRA and IHRA safety regulations and wont allow you to accidentally over shift into reverse while making a pass at the strip. To use the ratcheting function at the strip, shift into low gear, launch the vehicle and hit the shifter forward when its time to shift. You cannot over-shift and miss a gear. The chrome bezel, shift stick, and knob are all accented by the black console, flat boot, and deep blue medallion, giving your vehicles interior that classic muscle car style while providing fast and smooth ratchet shifting. The shifter includes a lighted gear position indicator in the bezel, a micro-switch for back-up lights and a neutral safety switch preventing accidental starts when in gear.
