The positive ratcheting function wont allow you to over shift and miss a gear at that critical moment, along with the reverse lockout feature meets NHRA/IHRA safety rules for those weekend grudge races at the track. The look and feel of the T-handle and accordion style shift boot really shows off the racing heritage of the MegaShifter. Other features include 5-foot shifter cable, cable brackets, transmission shift levers, black top console plate with lighted gear indicator and everything needed for an easy at home installation. An optional T-handle with a 12-volt button is available separately for actuating a trans-brake, nitrous oxide or other accessories for the hard-core performance enthusiast. This shifter fits most popular GM 3 and 4-speed automatic transmissions. Note: GM 4L60E through 4L85E transmissions with PRNDL switch will require optional kit #70499.

B&M has you covered with our high performance SFI approved flexplate designed for 1955-1985 GM small block (internally balanced) V8 engines along with 4.3L V6 engines. Also fits 1965-up GM big block (internally balanced) V8 engines with two piece rear main seal. Features include high tensile strength steel construction to resist elongation and cracking, dual bolt pattern 10.75 or 11.5 inch converter mounting locations, 168 tooth ring gear with double-sided welds for added strength and comes with SFI 29.1 safety certification insuring the ultimate in safety and performance. The assembly is then Zinc plated and treated with a Chromate Conversion Coating for added corrosion resistance and durability. B&M SFI approved flexplates are ideal for extreme duty race applications as well as street cars, tow vehicles or other vehicles needing the added protection and toughness that B&M has been delivering since 1953.

First is the HEAVY DUTY set-up, giving you firm positive shifts without loss of driver comfort for improved performance in all street vehicles. This is a great option for performance street driving or towing. The second is our STREET/STRIP set-up. Be warned, this will deliver firm positive shifts you will feel, along with easily chirping the tires when shifting somewhat aggressively. This setting is recommend for high performance street/strip use, or for competitive events when you want the hardest, quickest shifts possible from a shift improver kit. Note: Does not fit GM TH4L60E (electronic) transmissions.
